Old School Events Still Rock The World!
18/03/2008
Why does Nepal feature in our schedule year after year? Quite simply, it’s the best place in the world for trekking, with the most stunning mountain vistas you’ll ever see. Add to this the very real spiritual experience felt by many participants and it’s no wonder the place is so popular!
Our first charity trek to Nepal took place back in 1998 and we’ve been working with the same ground agents ever since. They really understand the dynamics of our challenge events and the standard of mountain service and level of support for your participants is second to none. A few days in the company of these wonderful sherpas, surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan scenery, results in committed supporters eager to come back for more!
From Hard Core Junkie to Novice Hiker
There’s something for everyone. We currently offer treks through the rolling foothills, forests, patchwork valleys and villages of the Helambu region and the Annapurna region. Both offer far reaching mountain views of the dramatic Himalayan skyline. Our Everest Base Camp trek will get you about as close to the mountain as possible without actually climbing it! New for 2008 is our expedition up the North Face Glacier to summit Mera Peak – at 6,476m the highest non-technical trekking peak in Nepal – and experience a pristine mountain wilderness with awe inspiring views.
Nepal also works out as one of our most cost effective destinations, with approximate costs for Helambu and Annapurna at £1,350 pp (plus taxes), based on a group of 20.
