Trek dates: 13 to 22 June 2013
Scale one of the highest freestanding mountains in the world and see Tanzania from Africa's highest peak.
Challenge yourself to take part in the Kilimanjaro Trek and raise money to help us continue caring terminally ill patients.
As one of the Seven Summits, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, towering 5,895m (19,341 feet ) above the surrounding plains.
Following the Rongai route, you will climb what is considered to be one of the most achievable routes to the summit which still retains the sense of untouched wilderness.
You will trek through cultivated farmlands, lush rainforests, alpine meadows, and above the clouds to the barren lunar landscape of the upper mountain, before your final push to its snow-capped summit.
The money you can raise by taking part in this unique adventure will help our Marie Curie Nurses provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
