Linking together Brazil's two largest cities, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, is the Serra da Bocaina mountain range. Over 110,000 hectares of this region is a stunning national park famous for its gloriously lush Atlantic Rainforest.

This tough trekking challenge takes us into the heart of the Bocaina National Park onto a mixture of jeep tracks, narrow jungle trails and along The Gold Trail which was originally built by slaves to transport gold to the coast. The area is one of real wilderness, with spectacular biodiversity with the added highlights of swimming in Rainforest pools and waterfalls of over 200 metres.
