Mount Kilimanjaro is one of Africa’s most magnificent sights, and at 5895m it is her highest peak. It's the tallest freestanding volcano in the world and Kibo, which is the central crater, rests on its two sisters Mawenzi and Shira. From cultivated farmlands on the lower levels, our route takes us through lush jungle, alpine meadow and finally across a barren lunar landscape to the summit of Kibo.

Trek dates: 15 to 20 November 2012

Join a small group of trekkers on our Sahara Trek in November 2012 and raise funds for your chosen charity. This stunning weekend challenge takes us to the Eastern side of Morocco near the Algerian border. Our journey begins in Ouarzazate from where  we transfer south-east passing the magical Draa Valley, a long ribbon of technicoloured palmeraies (crammed with date palms, olive, almonds groves and citrus trees), Kasbahs and Berber villages.
