Morocco is a land of enduring fascination and enchantment. This weekend mountain bike challenge takes us deep in to the heart of the High Atlas Mountains where high peaks and craggy ridges tower over deep gorges and isolated valleys are dotted with oases of iridescent green. This challenge starts a short journey from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The route takes us on a mixture of high mountain dirt trails, rocky tracks and tarmac roads through Berber villages, which have preserved a traditional way of life unchanged for centuries. This is a tough, fast-moving weekend with 124km to cover in just over 2 days, with a over 700m ascents in one day to our highest point at 1800m and fast 600m descents, off the beaten track, allowing us to witness a slice of living history and some stunning scenery from our mountain bikes!
