For centuries, Brazil has symbolized the great escape into a primordial, tropical paradise, igniting the Western imagination like no other South American country. From the sophisticated pleasures and carnival city of Rio de Janeiro to the immensity of the dark Amazon, Brazil is a country of mythic proportions. All the while, the people of Brazil delight visitors with their energy, natural passion and culture.

This spectacular 330km bike challenge takes us into the heart of Brazil. Our journey begins at the world heritage site of Ouro Preto, which was the centre of the late 17th century gold rush. Our bike challenge continues through beautiful colonial towns, coffee and sugar plantations and some spectacular mountain landscapes. Our challenge finishes at the famous carnival city of Rio de Janeiro for a celebration party not to be forgotten!

Day 4: Bike 60km Ouro Preto - Lavras Novas - Ouro Branco, Hotel
Day 5: Bike 65km Ouro Branco - Pedra do Sino, Hotel
Day 6: Bike 72km Pedro do Sino - Tiradentes, Guest House
Day 7: Bike 40km Tiradentes - Paraíba do Sul - Petrópolis, Hotel
Day 8: Bike 60km Petrópolis - Raizes da Serra - Rio de Janeiro. Farewell dinner, Hotel
Day 9: Free day in Rio de Janiero, Hotel

Day 11: Arrive London
