Cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats is a classic challenge, cycling over 1000 miles in 12 days. It is a fantastic way to experience a huge part of Britain from Cornwall, over Dartmoor, into Wales and finally through the mountains of Scotland to your finish line at John O'Groats. Outline challenge itinerary Day 1: Land’s End to Liskeard (83 miles) Day 2: Liskeard to Sampford Peverell (84 miles) Day 3: Sampford Peverell to Tintern (98 miles) Day 4: Tintern to Shrewsbury (90 miles) Day 5: Shrewsbury to Preston (86 miles) Day 6: Preston to Carlisle (100 miles) Day 7: Carlisle to Kilmarnock (95 miles) Day 8: Kilmarnock to Inverary (90 miles) Day 9: Inverary to Loch Lochy (97 miles) Day 10: Loch Lochy to Bonar Bridge (83 miles) Day 11: Bonar Bridge to Bettyhill (62 miles) Day 12: Bettyhill to John O’Groats (62 miles)
