Organise a charity challenge

Nepal, Annapurna Circuit Trek

Challenge Type: Trek
Destination:  Nepal, Asia
Best Time:  January, February, March, November, December
Grade:  Tough

This is one of our outline challenge itineraries. If you are interested in running this as a fundraising event, please contact us for more information. If you are looking to take part in a charity challenge please see upcoming events.

Few places in the world offer such a splendid variety of natural beauty as the Annapurna region in Nepal. This 11-day trek provides a fantastic combination of thick fir and rhododendron forests to the harsh, thin atmosphere of the Tibetan plateau, snow capped peaks, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Tibetan monasteries and picturesque villages inhabited by friendly and welcoming local people.

The challenge starts along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. Our highest point is the Thorung La pass at 5416m, and is the highest trekking pass in the world. From the pass you are confronted with line after line of snow capped ridges stretching before your eyes.

As we descend to the west at Muktinath, we continue to the barren Tibetan like village of the Kali Gandaki, and where the world's deepest gorge passes between the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains.

A spectacular trek and rewarding challenge.
