China Yellow River to the Terracotta Warriers Bike Challenge

China is a land of towering mountains and epic landscapes - background scenery to the fall of dynasties, the rise of emperors and the turning of the revolutionary wheel.

China has been referred to as the "bicycle kingdom", and on this spectacular 5-day, 490km bike challenge we will ride alongside the Yellow River, exploring rural parts of China and beautiful scenery, witnessing China’s fascinating culture and learning about their intriguing history, to our finish line in Xi’an and the Terracotta Warriors.

Our China adventure finishes with a day in Beijing to explore this fascinating city and an opportunity to visit the breathtaking Great Wall.

Day 1: Depart London for Beijing
Day 2: Arrive Beijing. Flight transfer to Zhengshou. Free afternoon. Overnight hotel.
Day 3: Visit Longmen Caves. Bike fitting. Overnight hotel.
Day 4: Bike 95km Luoning – Sanmenxia. Overnight hotel.
Day 5: Bike 120km Sanmenxia – Feng Ling Tu. Overnight hotel.
Day 6: Bike 125km Feng Ling Tu – Pu Cheng. Overnight hotel.
Day 7: Bike 115km Pu Cheng – Weinan. Overnight hotel.
Day 8: Bike 35km Weinan – Terracotta Warriors. Transfer to Xi’an. Overnight sleeper train to Beijing.
Day 9: Free day to explore Beijing or Great Wall of China. Celebration dinner. Overnight hotel.
Day 10: Overnight flight back to the UK
